The fifth Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF2026) was held in Antalya on 17–19 April 2026 under the auspices of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye.
In the face of geopolitical tensions, shifting balances of power, rising trade barriers and growing pressure on multilateralism, the current global environment is marked by increasing unpredictability.
This year’s theme, “Addressing Uncertainties While Designing Tomorrow”, highlights the importance of anticipating problems and addressing them effectively in order to build a better future. The theme underlines the need to stay ahead of developments by identifying risks and opportunities, developing strategies and turning accumulated knowledge into concrete action.
Unresolved conflicts, deepening polarisation and widespread strategic rivalries mean that many critical issues continue to affect people around the world. Strengthening international cooperation, dialogue and solidarity is of great importance in overcoming these challenges and moving towards a more inclusive, fair and effective international system.
ADF2026 brought together leaders, decision-makers, diplomats, academics, business experts and representatives of the media and civil society to explore ways of managing uncertainties, addressing pressing issues and preparing for future challenges. Through keynote speeches, panel discussions, interactive sessions and bilateral meetings, participants discussed global trends and regional dynamics, exchanged ideas on possible solutions and shared best practices.
The Forum once again served as an important platform for encouraging dialogue, rebuilding trust and deepening cooperation, contributing to shaping a roadmap for building a more peaceful, stable and resilient world for future generations.
