Minister Ersoy Made Important Remarks at BETUYAB

Ali Özdoğan, a member of the Board of Directors of the Özdoğan Group—which owns the Calista Luxury Resort—and the board, having been elected as the association’s new president, held important meetings as their first initiative to strengthen cooperation with public institutions. As part of this effort, they held a meeting with Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, the Minister of Culture and Tourism.

The new administration’s top priorities included projects that would boost Belek’s strength in tourism and elevate the destination’s brand even further on the international stage. With Minister Ersoy’s support, the goals were to strengthen the region’s international promotion, increase investor interest, and accelerate infrastructure projects. In his assessment of the meeting, President Ali Özdoğan stated, “Tourism is no longer just a sector; it is one of the cornerstones of Turkey’s development strategy. With this vision, our regions are being addressed through a holistic approach; comprehensive support is being provided, ranging from infrastructure to promotion. We at BETUYAB are also committed to contributing to this vision. We will transform Belek into not just a vacation destination, but an exemplary synthesis of sustainable development, environmentally friendly investments, and cultural values.”

BETUYAB’s new board of directors held its first meeting a few days ago and officially took office after making various decisions. In addition to Chairman Ali Özdoğan, the board consists of Vice Chairman İbrahim Pektaş and members Ayhan Akan Bektaş, Mehmet Aygün, Özgür Nazik, Kaan Kaşif Kavaloğlu, Ramazan Kara, Ömer İçkale, Harika Güral, Yasin Akkanat, Mehmet Akif Tamince, Yunus Özdemir, and Kübra Akbalık Namlıcı, is preparing to implement a comprehensive development and promotion plan for the region.
