Belek's Golden Shores: The Best Beaches

Tucked into the southwestern coast of Antalya, where pine forests meet the sea, Belek is known for more than its golf courses and luxury resorts — it's also home to miles of golden, fine-sand beaches. With their soft sand, shallow and warm waters, and Blue Flag-certified cleanliness, Belek's beaches are an ideal choice for families and anyone looking for a relaxed seaside escape. Here's a closer look at the region's most popular shores.

Belek Public Beach: The Region's Most Popular Shore

One of the most visited beaches in Belek, Belek Public Beach stands out for its fine sand and shallow waters. These features make it especially popular with families traveling with children and those still learning to swim. Basic amenities such as showers, restrooms, changing cabins, and snack stands are available, making it a convenient spot for day visits too. As the sea calms in the early morning and the sun catches the golden sand, the view turns into something straight out of a postcard.

Kadriye Public Beach: A Family Favorite

Located in Kadriye, right next to Belek, this beach stretches about 300 meters long and 50 meters wide. Awarded the Blue Flag, Kadriye Public Beach impresses visitors with its crystal-clear, deep blue sea. The sand is generally fine-grained, and the water is quite shallow, making it a safe option for families with children and visitors who aren't confident swimmers. The warmth of the water is another reason sun-and-sea lovers keep coming back. Picnic and camping areas surrounding the beach add extra appeal for those who want to spend time in nature after a swim.

Boğazkent Public Beach: A Spot for Peace and Quiet

Quieter than Belek's other popular shores, Boğazkent Public Beach sits about 10 kilometers from the town center. Around 150 meters long and 35 meters wide, the beach combines fine sand with patches of pebbles. Thanks to its very shallow water, it's another favorite among families with young children and beginner swimmers. Holding Blue Flag status, the beach is known for its clear, clean sea, making it nearly ideal for travelers seeking a peaceful holiday away from the crowds. The restaurants and snack bars nearby also make it easy to spend a full day by the water.
