One of the key features that makes the Belek coastline so appealing is its shallow-entry beaches and wide stretches of soft sand, creating ideal conditions for swimmers of all ages. Sea temperatures vary significantly throughout the year, making seasonal timing an important factor when planning a beach holiday.
In spring (March–May), sea temperatures gradually increase to 17–22°C, making occasional swimming possible toward the end of the season.
Summer (June–August) is the warmest time of the year, with sea temperatures ranging from 23°C to 29°C, offering ideal conditions for long and comfortable swimming sessions.
In autumn (September–November), sea temperatures slowly begin to decrease, although the water often remains pleasantly warm throughout October.
Air temperatures follow a similar pattern. During summer, daytime temperatures frequently exceed 30°C, while even in winter they rarely fall below 10°C.
